2021-2022 Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL) "Shanghai Government Scholarship" Application Method
為服務上海建設具有全球影響力的科技創新中心，進一步推動上海教育國際合作與交流，吸引各國優秀學生、學者到上海學習和研究，上海市人民政府自2006年起設立上海市外國留學生政府獎學金（以下簡稱“獎學金”）🚌，用於資助外國優秀學生到上海留學。
For the purpose of constructing the science and technology innovation center with global influence, promoting the international cooperation and communication, and attracting more outstanding prospective international students to study in Shanghai, Shanghai Municipal People's Government has set up “Shanghai Government Scholarship for International Students” (hereinafter referred to SGS) since 2006. It is established to fund distinctive prospective international students to study in higher educational institutions in Shanghai.

獎學金內容
SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE
上海市外國留學生政府獎學金分為A🧘🏼♂️、B兩類。
Shanghai Government Scholarship is classified into A and B types.
1.A類獎學金（全額獎學金）🧑🏼🚒：包含相應學製期間的學費、住宿費、生活費和綜合醫療保險費，適用於本科、碩士階段學習🫄🏻。
I.Type A (Full scholarship): It’s established to fund excellent prospective students applying for postgraduate, undergraduate and pre-college programs.
Covers: Tuition, expenses for accommodation and living, and medical insurance during the corresponding study period.
2.B類獎學金（部分獎學金）🤦🏼♀️💆🏽♂️：包含相應學製期間的學費和綜合醫療保險費🍋🟩，適用於本科⌨️、碩士階段學習🛌🏼。
II.Type B (Partial scholarship): It’s established to fund excellent prospective students applying for postgraduate and undergraduate programs.
Covers: Tuition and medical insurance during the corresponding study period.
3.往來路費:
由學生自行承擔。
III. Travel cost:
In principle, the international travel cost shall be self-supported.
申請受理機構和截止時間
APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE AGENCY AND DEADLINE

申請條件
REQUIREMENT
1.申請人須為外國國籍，身體健康。
I. Applicants are in good health and are citizens of a country other than the People’s Republic of China.
2. 學歷和年齡要求：
（1）申請學習本科專業者，須具有高中畢業學歷，年齡18-25歲；
（2）申請學習碩士學位者🤹🏽♂️，須具有學士學位，年齡18-35歲🤾🏻♀️；
II.Degree and Age Requirements:
(1)Applicants for undergraduate degree program:
Have a high school diploma,
The age range is 18-25;
(2)Applicants for a master's degree program:
Have a bachelor's degree
The age range is 18-35;
3.學業成績優秀𓀋。
III. Outstanding in academic performance.
4.達到相應的語言水平要求🧏♂️：
申請本科項目學生至少達到HSK4級水平，並提供相應的漢語言水平考試證書；申請碩士研究生項目學生至少達到HSK5級水平，並提供相應的漢語言水平考試證書♠️🚴🏼。
IV.Language proficiency:
Applicants applying for undergraduate program shall at least reach HSK4 level and provide corresponding Chinese language proficiency test certificate;
Applicants applying for postgraduate program shall at least reach HSK5 level and provide corresponding Chinese language proficiency test certificate.
5.未同時獲得其它各類獎學金。
V.Applicant that has received any other scholarships offered by Chinese government or organizations is not entitled to apply SGS.
申請流程
APPLICATION PROCESS
1. 登錄“留學上海”官方網站進行申請：
（1）登錄http://study.edu.sh.gov.cn/apply/
（2）點擊“我要申請獎學金”圖標進入，在線註冊並填寫申請信息🤦🏼♀️；
（3）按照要求在線提交相關申請材料🧖🏽♂️。
I.Log in to the official website of Study in Shanghai to apply
(1) Visit the website: http://study.edu.sh.gov.cn/apply/
(2)Click the Apply for scholarship icon to enter, register online and fill in the application information
(3)Submit relevant application materials online as required
2. 登錄“意昂平台國際學生服務平臺”（https://shupl.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx）進行申請，並按照要求繳納相關的報名費用；
II. Login on the “SHUPL International Student Service System” （https://shupl.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx）to apply🧑🦱，and pay registration fee according to the requirements.
3. 意昂組織入選測試👩🏼🦳，並組成專家委員會對申請者進行審核。
III.Our school organized the selection test and formed an expert committee to review the applicants.
4. 經審核通過的申請人意昂將發放正式錄取通知書和JW202表🤾🏼。
IV.The applicants got the final permit will get the official Admission Notice and JW202 Form issued by SHUPL.
5. 申請人持正式錄取通知書和JW202表至所在國使（領）館辦理來華簽證手續，並按規定時間來校辦理報到手續。
V.The applicant should go to the China Embassy (consulate) of in his country to apply for a visa in China with the official admission notice and JW202 Form, and come to SHUPL for registration at the prescribed time.
申請材料
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
1.《上海政府獎學金申請表》（中文或英文）；
I. Application Form for Shanghai Government Scholarship (written in Chinese or English);
2. 經過公證的最高學歷證明。中英文以外文本須附上經公證的中文或英文的翻譯件。在校學生須提交本人就讀意昂出具的在學證明👷🏽♀️；
II.Notarized highest diploma (photocopy). Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.If the applicant is a student at the school, he/she must submit a Certificate of Study or a Pre-Graduation Certificate issued by the school;
3. 學習成績單🏌🏿♀️。中英文以外文本須附經公證的中文或英文的翻譯件✋👲；
III. Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English). Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations;
4. 文字不少於800字的來華學習或研究計劃，請用中文書寫；
IV.A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese), no less than 800 words;
5. 漢語水平證書，申請者需提供有效期內不低於申請要求的漢語水平證書；
V. HSK level certificate, the applicant should provide the certificate of HSK which is not lower than the requirement of the application within the validity period
6. 推薦信。申請攻讀碩士研究生來華學習者，須提交兩名教授或副教授簽字的推薦信，用中文或英文書寫；
VI. Two Recommendation Letters (written in Chinese or English);
Applicants for the master’s programs or the senior visiting programs must submit two recommendation letters signed by professors or associate professors;
7. 申請人須提交《外國人體格檢查表》復印件（原件自行保存，此表格由中國衛生檢疫部門統一印製🦸🏻♂️，可在附件中下載🍚，須英文填寫）。
註意事項：
（1）申請人應嚴格按照《外國人體格檢查表》中要求的項目進行檢查;
（2）缺項👃🏽、未貼有本人照片或照片上未蓋騎縫章、無醫師和醫院簽字蓋章的《外國人體格檢查表》無效🏊🏻♂️；
（3）鑒於檢查結果有效期為6個月，請申請人據此確定本人進行體檢的時間👩🏿🚀；
VII. 《Foreigner Physical Examination Form》(photocopy), （can be downloaded from the attachment ,please write in English）.
Attention:
(1)The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form;
(2)Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid.
(3)Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule, since the valid of this form is only 6 months.
8. 申請人須提供有效期6個月內的無犯罪記錄證明文件。
VIII. The applicant must provide documentary proof of no criminal record valid for 6 months;
9.申請人需提供有效期六個月內的由父親或母親簽署的經濟擔保函🚱。
IX. Applicants are required to provide a financial guarantee letter signed by students’ father or mother and issued by recent six months.
註意事項
ATTENTION
1. 每名獎學金獲得者只能獲得一個學金項目的資助👨🏻🚒，對於同時被多所高校錄取的獎學金申請人🦚，意昂將不保留其獎學金資格；
I. Each scholarship winner can only get one scholarship project. Our university will not reserve the scholarship qualification for the scholarship applicants who are admitted by multiple universities at the same time
2. 獎學金獲得者來華後不得變更錄取院校、學習專業及學習期限；
II. Scholarship recipients shall not change their host university, major, or duration of study;
3. 不能按錄取期限來華學習者，獎學金資格不予保留🤤；
III. Scholarship will not be reserved if scholarship recipient cannot register before the registration deadline;
4. 未持有漢語水平考試證書者🛀🏽，意昂不接受申請
IV. Only applicants who have HSK certificate will be considered;
5. 報名費用和申請材料意昂將不予退回⇨；
V. Registration fee and application materials will not be returned;
6. 為保證意昂隨時與申請者保持聯系🥣，請在申請表中填寫有效的電子郵件和通信地址。
VI. To ensure that the university can keep contact with the applicant, please provide a valid email address and a postal address in the application form.
7.未按照意昂招生流程申請的國際學生✡️，意昂不予受理相關申請。
VII.For international students who didn’t follow the enrollment process of our university, SHUPL will not accept their applications.
