Applicant Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must
- be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health both mentally and physically.
- the master's degree program to which the applicant is applying must be consistent with or related to the major of the bachelor's degree earned.
- be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs;
- have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4 when applying for Chinese taught master’s programs; Students with a degree from a Chinese university who have used Chinese as the language of instruction do not need to provide proof of HSK;
- meet the admission requirements of the applied universities in terms of academic ability, language proficiency and other relevant criteria.

How to Apply
1. Login on the “SHUPL International Student Service System”
(https://admission.shupl.edu.cn/studentLogin)to apply,and pay registration fee according to the requirements. Refer to the 2025 Registration Instructions of Master Student Program.pdf
2. Our university organized the selection test and formed an expert committee to review the applicants.
3.The admitted applicants will get the official Admission Notice and Jw201 Form issued by SHUPL.
4.The applicants should go to the China Embassy (consulate) to apply for a visa with the Official Admission Notice and Jw201 Form, come to SHUPL for registration at the prescribed time.
